Pickleball Is Coming To Duluth, But What Is It? [VIDEO]
Pickleball is a new sport that combines tennis, badminton, and ping-pong and it has took the nation by storm.
Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and has been gaining popularity quickly. The sport can be played both indoor and outdoor on a badminton sized court with a slightly modified tennis net. A solid wooden paddle is used with a perforated polymer ball similar to a wiffle ball.
Instructions and games will be conducted by local pickleball players with all equipment being provided at Wheeler Sports Complex tennis courts (3501 Grand Ave) Friday June 24th from 6-8pm.
