Review: Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour U.S. Bank Stadium
Taylor Swift is embarking on her fifth tour, this time a large stadium tour supporting her latest album, Reputation. The tour made a stop at U.S. Bank Stadium over the weekend and it was over-the-top fun!
Taylor took the stage promptly at 8:45 both Friday and Saturday night after Charli XCX and Camila Cabello warmed up the crowd that slowly filled in the seats after stopping at the merch table and concessions.
Swift is on the top of her game, she played and entertained for 2 hours and the crowd was into it, singing along with just about every song from the new album and of course plenty of songs from her previous 5 albums.
The stage, the lighting, the pyro, the props, the video screens, the dancers, the musicians, all provided plenty of eye and ear candy, but the show was at its best when it was just Taylor on stage talking or singing to the nearly 40,000 fans.
The sound at U.S. Bank Stadium was great, the clearly have figured out the issues that plagued some of the early shows at the new billion dollar stadium. The prices were NOT so great, it is really sad the prices they charge for even a bottle of water, let's not even talk about how much a beer was. Annoying!
Both Charli XCX and Camila Cabello did fine, they played their hits and were having a fun time warming up the crowd. They both also join Taylor for 'Shake it Off' later in the evening.
Taylor is in the prime of her career and she is a born entertainer, I can't wait to see what she does next. What do you think, did you like the show?
