PlayStation users will be happy to hear that the PlayStation Network is coming back to life, slowly.  Sony President Kazuo Hirai announced on Saturday that the network, that has been down for a month, is being restarted to get gamers back online.

After logging in for the first time you'll be asked to update your software and to change your password.  The network is not fully back to 100% yet, for example the store is closed, it could take another 2 weeks for the network to return to normal.

Sony has said that it will offer free credit monitoring for users, but no details have been given yet.  Sony has also stated it will offer some free content like games or expansions for some current titles like Call of Duty or SOCOM 4.
