A crowd of excited people gathered at the Minnesota Power Plaza in Downtown Duluth this morning (April 17) for a chance to claim a chunk of this year's "Bunny Money" stash.
Have you wondered if you can bake eggs rather than boil them? I honestly didn't, because I have more important things to wonder about, but I'm glad I found this tip! I can cook, but for some reason I always mess up hard-boiled eggs.
I love Peeps, yes I do, I love Peeps how 'bout you? I think that this could catch on as a great new Easter cheer don't you? I love the fact that Peeps are still going strong, as evidenced by Easter in our house yesterday, as I was surrounded by a group of kids. We had a very serious conversation about said delicious marshmallow treats.
As far as holidays go, Easter might not be as popular as Christmas or Halloween, but it still has traditions and treats that can raise anyone’s spirit, mood or blood sugar level.
The most interesting part of this annual celebration of Spring and rebirth is the supposed difference in the ways they are celebrated.
They might seem cute, fuzzy and fake in the eyes of someone with a college education and an unpaid mortgage, but Easter terrors are clearly harboring some kind of evil that only children can smell. The blog, Sketchy Bunnies, has been compiling the worst wabbits ever to grace the pages of a family’s photo album. These are the sketchiest of the sketchy.
Somewhere along the way, an egg-toting, gift-giving rabbit became associated with the Easter holiday. We assume that soon after, sadistic parents decided that it would be fun to make sure any likeness of this generous rabbit should be creepy and frightening so they can take pictures and video of their children being completely freaked out.
Whether you’re a devout church-goer or just someone who enjoys hunting for eggs way too much, there is one Easter tradition that can bring all of humanity together: Marshmallow Peeps. These colorful blobs of gooey, cute deliciousness have stolen the hearts and minds of every future diabetic.
