Last week, while filling in for Jeanne on the morning show, Laura challenged me to grow a Duck Dynasty beard. Since then, I've let the facial hair grow in my ongoing #cooperbeard campaign - but I decided to show what the entire MIX staff would look like if we went "Duck Dynasty" style with facial hair.

In the category of "news that isn't news at all", Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their baby daughter over Father's Day weekend, and now tabloid buzz is centered on what "Kimye" decided to call their little bundle of joy.

There is a new trend on the web called " "Sloth-facing," or "Quasimoderping." Basically, a little Photoshop magic to move the eyes and mouth around to make the subject look like a sloth. We've found some celebrity "sloth faces", and added some local Twin Ports celebrities from MIX 108, local TV stations, and even a Mayor.

MIX 108's midday marvel, Laura, made her TV acting debut last week in a commercial for our Win Cash giveaway.

I'm not sure what is happening in this video, but while I was on the air today I turned around to see Laura doing some strange things with a bathroom plunger. All I was told is to mind my own business and that it has something to do with the 108 Days of Summer Kick Off Cruise tomorrow night. My eyes are still burning. One of the things I love about working at Mix 108 is being surrounded by music.
