If you are out doing school supply shopping for your kids or maybe just happen to be next to the displays, think about grabbing one or tow extra things for the kids.

Thanks to many donations from the public and a variety of Drop Off sites throughout the area MIx 108 was able to add to the school supplies at two Duluth Schools.

With the upcoming school year just a matter of weeks away, families around the Northland are going over their back to school shopping lists to make sure their children have everything they need to be successful for the upcoming year. While back to school shopping can put a strain on many families' budgets, some just don't have the means to get what they need for their children.

For most kids, the summer is drawing to a close and school is just three weeks away.  While the children may be whining, many parents are rejoicing!  Since I'm a list maker, I've put together a to-do list to make sure you and your students are prepared for the First Day of School.

When I was a kid I was always excited about getting my new school supplies and clothes for the new year, but now as a parent, not so much. Unless, I ran into these guys. They take unsuspecting shoppers and ask them ridiculous questions about obviously made up supplies.

The countdown to the first day of school has officially begun and so has the hunt for school supplies, make sure you have all the paper and crayons you need by checking the  list of supplies that is required, here is every list for every school in the Twin Ports.

For parents, myself included, we have some sigh of relief when school starts again. But, it is also  crazy expensive. Between all the new clothes and school supplies, If you have more then one child...look out.
