Sumlee Beede, owner of Duluth's only Thai restaurant, Sala Thai, will be moving back to the site of her first Thai restaurant in downtown Duluth.

According to an article from the Duluth News Tribune, Sala Thai is moving from it's current location on Woodland Avenue to West First street which was the location of Beede's first Thai restaurant. She's moving due to an uncertainty of leasing month-to-month among other things. Plus the new building has a lot more space.

I for one am excited because now I don't have to drive as far to feed my Thai food cravings. I absolutely loved Thai Krathong which was located in Canal Park and closed in 2013. I love having a variety of different foods in the area and Thai is one of my favorites.

Beede plans to close Sala Thai in Woodland by March 26th and reopen in her new location sometime in late April. Let me know in the comments on what you think of the move.
