This year more than ever families are really struggling so a program like this is imperative for many people and their children. If you are able to help in any capacity it will be greatly appreciated by these families. The Salvation Army of Superior will be holding there sign up for Christmas Toys and Christmas Food Basket starting today and going through Dec. 3. at The Salvation Army building located at 916 Hughitt Ave. in Superior.

Registration for the programs is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm All other sign up times are by appointment only by calling The Superior Salvation Army at 715-394-7001.

In order to register for the program you must be a resident of Douglas County Wisconsin. Please make sure to bring some form of photo identification and a current piece of mail with your name and current address on it, plus proof of each child in your household. You may use a birth certificate, school records or medical Insurance.

The Superior Salvation Army along with the Superior Fire Department will be distributing Coats and Food Baskets December 17 from 10am-4pm at The Superior Salvation Army and Toy Distribution will be December 12 and 13 by scheduled appointment only at The Superior Fire Department.

The Salvation Army in Superior bell ringing will start November 6. All bell ringers will be required to wear a mask or scarf to participate. If you would like to volunteer registration is available online. If you cannot make it to a kettle in person or do not feel comfortable doing so you can also make a virtual donation.
