The Great Cycle Challenge is a nationwide bike race that raises money for Children's Cancer Research Fund in the month of June, and your participation could help raise money and awareness for a local girl who lost her fight with Cancer on April 19th, she was only 15 years old.

Nathalia Hawley passed away from bone cancer and her family is trying to gain support locally from the cycling community to help raise money for osteosarcoma  research in honor of her memory. Her mom Katy spoke with WDIO and said "We have such a strong biking community here and I think this is a great organization or a great thing for people to get involved with. You set up a goal of how many miles you're going to ride, 100, 200 miles for the month of June and then you ask for donations."

This year a special team is being assembled called "Team Nat" in honor of Nathalia. The Great Cycle Challenge starts in June but you can start fundraising right away. To join Team Nat click here.
