The Great Debate, Who Pays on a First Date? [VIDEO]

It has been a long standing tradition that the guy always pays for a first date, well times have changed, or have they?

I did a very non scientific survey around the building and overwhelmingly all of the guys in the building said they should pay while the women were split with half saying yes the guy should pay and the other half saying no they would be willing to pay or split the bill.

I am leaning towards whoever asked the person out should pay no matter what the gender, but I would be cool with splitting the bill too.  So guys relax, all that tradition that was instilled in you growing up may not even apply to the woman you are going on a first date with. Keep it simple and ind inexpensive, that way If you (guys) feel obligated to pay it will not be that big of a deal when the bill comes, especially If the date did not go so well.
