Here we go again! The Minnesota State Fair announced that due to the overwhelming demand of the first one a Fall Food Parade has been scheduled for October. The tickets will be issued through a random lottery system.

According to the Minnesota State Fair Facebook Page if you are a member of Friends of the Fair at the Red Ribbon Level or above and join before Wednesday September 16 at Noon, you have the opportunity to purchase tickets on Thursday September 17 before the lottery process begins. You can join now through the Minnesota State Fair Foundation's website.

The Fall Food Parade runs Oct. 1-4 and 8-11, and features 16 vendors along a 1.5-mile route through the fairgrounds. Vehicle tickets will be available for sale through a lottery process, and registration for the lottery is open now through Thursday, Sept. 17, at noon. You can register for your chance at a vehicle ticket here.
A limited number of vehicle tickets will be sold for this event. Each vehicle ticket is $20 (plus $5 in fees, sales tax included) and covers up to 5 people per car (ages 5+), According to the Minnesota State Fair Website " with proceeds supporting Minnesota State Fair operations in a year when the cancellation of the fair leaves us without nearly all of our revenue to maintain our facilities and prepare for next year’s fair."

This is a parade! All vehicles will follow the same one-way 1.5-mile route through the fairgrounds by all 16 vendors. Plan for about a two-hour experience. AGAIN YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE LOTTERY BY THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 17 AT NOON! Click here for all the information you need.
