Barring any unforeseen changes, you can expect to see ride sharing services like Lyft and Uber in the Duluth area very soon.

According to a tweet from Duluth City Councilman Noah Hobbs, who is also a sponsor on the legislation to help get the ride sharing services here, you can expect to see the services here quite soon.

Personally, I love this. For those that don't know, services like Lyft or Uber allow for you to call for a ride from an app on your phone. You put your payment information on the app and you don't have to exchange cash after the ride. It streamlines the whole process and you won't have to worry about calling a cab. Just open the app on your phone and request a ride.
