Vote For What Will be Shown At Duluth's 2022 Movies In The Park

The Greater Downtown Council has narrowed down the movie choices to 12 for this summer for Movies In The Park.

Now they just need your help in choosing what you want to watch. Voting is now open on the Greater Downtown Council's Facebook page. There are 12 movies you can choose from. They will narrow it down to 8 for the summer.

According to their website and Facebook page, voting is open until February 4th. All you have to do is leave a comment or like a movie and the movies with the most likes or comments wins.

The Greater Downtown Council's Movies in the Park series, presented by ArrowheadOrthodontics, will begin Friday, July 8th, and run every Friday until August 26th. The Greater Downtown Council is hoping to have a great turnout again this year at Leif Erickson Park. Who knows what the landscape for COVID will look like at that time.

I think there are really good choices this year. Good collection of family flicks, and newer movies. The city would like to know which movies you like so they can have a good turnout, and also so they can obtain the rights to the movies. They have to get that so they can show them publicly.

It's a fun family night out, it's free, and you can get snacks and beverages or bring your own. The best thing to do is bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the night
