The nickel defense has no business in a league where even the poorest franchises are worth more than a billion dollars.

Forbes has come out with its rankings of the most valuable teams in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys may have only won two playoff games in the last two decades, but that's certainly not hurt their bottom line: America's Team is the most valuable franchise in the league, worth a whopping $4.2 billion. That easily outpaced the New England Patriots, which came in second at $3.4 billion.

The league's big mover? The Los Angeles Rams, which doubled in value after moving from St. Louis and rocketed to sixth on the list at $2.9 billion.

The Buffalo Bills brought up the rear at $1.5 billion, which, while still at the bottom, is no small chunk of change.
