What’s the Smartest City in America?
You don’t have to turn on ‘Jeopardy!’ to find America’s best and brightest.
Neuroscience research company Lumosity has created a list of the smartest cities in the US, using data collected from three million people who’ve completed a variety of brain-training exercises.
Perhaps not surprisingly, college towns dominated the rankings. And while we’re not sure what the fashions look like in Ithaca, New York, we do know smarty pants are extremely trendy – the city finished at number one. Ithaca is home to esteemed Ivy League school Cornell, as well as Ithaca College.
The news isn’t as pleasant for Cincinnati. The Ohio city finished dead last, which makes us wonder if they should consider coming up with a name that’s slightly easier for its citizens to spell.
