Who’ll Win Best Live Twerker at This Minnesota Award Show?!
The Oscars were last night, and usually that marks the end of award season in the entertainment industry. But locally, there is at least one award show remaining: the 2025 Stripper Awards Gala.
And the timing couldn’t be better, as the winner for Best Picture at the Academy Awards was Anora, a film about a stripper who marries the son of a Russian oligarch.
While it’s doubtful there will be any rich Russian oligarchs at tonight’s award show in Minneapolis, there will be plenty of talented strippers looking to earn one of the many awards being given out tonight.

A Night of Talent at The Green Room
The 2025 Stripper Awards Gala happens at The Green Room in Downtown Minneapolis tonight. The event is organized by the Sex Workers Outreach Project and the Minneapolis Stripper Guild. This celebration of skill, creativity, and dedication brings together the local community to honor the artistry of stripping in the Twin Cities.

Awards Highlighting Skill and Swagger
Tonight’s 2025 Stripper Awards Gala features a variety of honors celebrating the craft and charisma of its performers. The Best Live Twerker award brings excitement as the audience chooses the winner in real time, while the Best New Body award recognizes a stripper’s transformation, whether through breast augmentation, new teeth, or other enhancements. The Pole and Floor Princess Awards spotlight the night’s most captivating pole and floor routines, showcasing the skill that defines the art form.
The gala also celebrates personal ambition and teamwork with awards like the Meg Thee Stallion Award, given to a stripper putting themselves through college, and Double Trouble, honoring the best duo performance on stage. The night’s top prize, the MVP award, goes to a standout stripper who excels in talent, dedication, and support for their peers, making it the most coveted recognition of the evening.
Event Details for Twin Cities Locals
The event is open to the public with tickets priced at $45 for general admission and $95 for VIP. It’s a 21+ event, and the dress code is “upscale, grown, and sexy.”
