You Won’t Believe What Minnesota Rapper Yung Gravy Does With All The Bras From His Shows
Rapper Yung Gravy has garnered quite the following and he happens to be from Minnesota. You won't believe what he does with all the bras that get thrown at him at his concerts.
If you didn't know, the popular rapper Yung Gravy is actually from Minnesota. He even performed in his home state while the Vikings squeaked by the Patriots in a close Thanksgiving night game at US Bank Stadium.
Gravy was born Matthew Hauri in Rochester, MN in 1996. He grew to fame with his 2016 hit 'Mr. Clean' when it gained traction on Soundcloud. However, his hit song 'Betty (Get Money)' was his first Billboard Hot 100 charting hit.
Gravy is also known for sampling songs from all sorts of decades and using his unique style on the track. He sampled Maxine Nightingale's 1976 hit 'Right Back Where We Started From' for 'Gravy Train'. The 1954 song 'Mr. Sandman' by The Chordettes can be heard in his track 'Mr. Clean'. Of course, his song 'Betty (Get Money)' has some rickroll action as it sampled Rick Astley's 1987 hit 'Never Gonna Give You Up'.
So if you have been to one of Gravy's shows, you can expect women to throw a certain type of undergarment up on stage. According to a recent TikTok, there have been 678 bras collected from his shows and they will be donated to women's shelters.
After performing during the Vikings pre-game, Gravy did a show at The Armory. His TikTok claims that the Minneapolis show set a record of 159 bras thrown on stage. Furthermore, he stated that he will match the final value of all the bras thrown on stage to donate to breast cancer charities. As if the man needed another reason for fans to love him.
