Minnesota State Fair Announces Rapper Yung Gravy To Play 2023 Grandstand Show
A Minnesota native will be taking the biggest stage at this year's Great Minnesota Get-together!
Known by his mama as Matthew Raymond Hauri, we all know this 20-something Minnesota-born rapper as Yung Gravy. As the organizers of the Minnesota State Fair announced today, you'll be able to get a side of Gravy with your cheese curds and pronto pups at this August's fair.
Propelled to national stardom by his big 2022 hit Betty (Get Money), which samples the 1980s hit "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley, is now a recognizable figure in the music world after grinding away in the industry since his first musical release in 2016, earning some musical stardom on streaming services like SoundCloud and Spotify before launching to the next level in 2022.
Gravy will be joined by rapper/R&B performer bbno$ (“baby no money”), who also got his start on services like SoundCloud. Calling Canada home, bbno$ crossed the threshold of 1 million Spotify monthly listeners in late 2018. In 2019, bbno$ self-released his sophomore album, “Recess,” and booked his first headlining American and European tours.

The duo of Yung Gravy and bbno$ are the third act announced so far for the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand. They join country stars The Chicks and British 80's superstars Duran Duran as the initial acts announced for 2023.
The Yung Gravy show with bbno$ is scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, 2023, starting at 7 pm. Tickets go on sale for the show at 10 am on Friday, March 3. The State Fair says pricing for the show is as follows: $64 (general admission pit); $49, $39, $29 (reserved seating). You'll be able to get tickets via the Etix website or by calling Etix at 800-514-3849.
