The Metropolitan Airports Commission selected 49 new retail and food vendors to open at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Among the many changes to come, Delaware North (based out of Buffalo, NY) was awarded two retail packages, a food and beverage package and a convenience and news package. For Food They propose plans to replace the TGI Friday's with a new sports bar called Minnie and Paul's Twins Grill, offering nachos, juicy lucy's and local craft beers.

In a news release from MAC (Minneapolis Airport Commission) There will also be a restaurant and bar that will serve as a music venue, a full- service craft beer bar and restaurant and a food truck-style food court.

Proposed retail stores will  include a sporting goods store, a Minnesota-themed gift shop, an art store and a bookstore. Convenience and news shops will sell news-papers, magazines, snacks and travel items, and will be named for Twin Cities neighborhoods, including Como Park Essentials and North Loop Market.

I'm excited for these new changes to come and can't wait to hear what else will be coming to the airport. You can read the full article from the Duluth News Tribune here. Let me know in the comments what you think of the Airports changes to come.
