A Go Fund Me Page Has Been Established for Man Stabbed in West Duluth

Ben VanDell who is 20 years old was the victim of a violent attack in his apartment as he was sleeping in his bed. VanDell suffered more than a dozen stab wounds with some to his face as he tried to ward off the attack.

According to WDIO the alleged attacker Willie Nicholson has been charged in the attack. According to the criminal complaint Nicholson told police he was trying to find a place to sleep, and stabbed VanDell so he would not call the police.
