A Minnesotan Is On The New ‘Big Brother’ Season
'Big Brother' is a reality competition television show and there will be a Minnesotan featured on their 24th season.
The show first premiered back in 2000 and was based off a Dutch reality show of the same name. The show follows a group of people known as "houseguests" competing against each other in hopes to win $750,000. The "houseguests" are constantly monitored and are completely isolated from the outside world during the season. They compete against each other in various and unique games throughout the season and get evicted from the house one by one until there is a winner.
This season will have 16 "houseguests" and one individual is from Minnesota. Michael Bruner is a 28 year-old attorney from St. Michael, MN who currently resides in Rochester. His fiancé even tweeted out the sweetest support for Michael:
Michael's bio on his Instagram lists himself as a "Cat dad to three, fiancé to a wonderful man, lover of board games, and a Big Brother Fanatic. Also…. A #bb24 Houseguest!!!". 'Big Brother' alum Janelle Pierzina who has had appearances on seasons 6, 7, 14, and 22 of the show has Michael as her "draft pick". She is also from Minnesota, but more up north than Michael as she's from Grand Rapids. Check out her tweet in support of the Minnesota native:
The show airs every Wednesday on CBS at 8/7C and on Paramount+. The first episode premiered this week, but you can catch a sneak peek of the season below:
