Wisconsin’s Biggest Venue Snags Iconic Band’s Return
Since Wisconsin’s biggest venue reopened for concerts, the lineup has been nothing short of spectacular. Now, it looks like the streak of blockbuster shows will continue into next year.
For nearly 30 years, Camp Randall Stadium in Madison didn’t allow concerts. The University cited several reasons from logistical challenges to facility concerns, but growing demand and the need for new revenue sources convinced administrators to rethink that stance.
Wisconsin's Camp Randall Hosting Concerts Again
That decision paid off. In 2024, Camp Randall hosted its first concerts since 1997 with Morgan Wallen performing June 28 and 29, followed by Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres World Tour” on July 19. Every one of those shows sold out, proving Wisconsin fans were hungry for live music under the lights.

AC/DC Returning To Wisconsin For Massive Stadium Show
Now, the next major act has been announced for 2026, and it’s a thunderous one. For the first time in 16 years, AC/DC will return to Wisconsin. The legendary rock band will bring their “PWR UP” tour to Madison’s Camp Randall Stadium on July 19, 2026.
Tickets go on sale Friday, November 7 at 10 AM through the University of Wisconsin Badgers box office. Sales are limited to four tickets per person, and prices may fluctuate based on demand.
Music At Camp Randall Continues in 2026
“After hosting three spectacular concerts last summer, Camp Randall Stadium is slated to once again host live music in 2026,” the University said in a statement announcing the show.
The concert will be the second stop of AC/DC’s newly announced 21-date tour, which includes Texas, Las Vegas, and Canada before wrapping up in Philadelphia.
