The popular 'Back to the Future' star made a stop in Wisconsin this week at the Grand Theatre in Wausau.

Fox has been acting since the 70s, being known as many characters throughout his career such as: Alex P. Keaton on 'Family Ties', Marty McFly in the 'Back to the Future' franchise, Mike Flaherty in 'Spin City', and he was even the voice of 'Stuart Little'.

My personal favorite role of his was Frank Bannister in the comedy horror movie 'The Frighteners'. The movie was about a man (played by Fox) who uses his gift of communicating with the dead to con people. Of course, an evil demonic spirit appears, so he teams up with his ghostly friends to stop it. It may be a little older, but it's a fun ride in my opinion.

Fox is now retired and was recently spotted in the town of Wausau, Wisconsin. According to WSAW-TV, he was at the George L. Ruder Forum at the Grand Theater to help raise awareness of Parkinson's disease. The event called 'An Evening With Michael J. Fox: No Time Like the Future' was originally scheduled for April 19th, 2023. However, the event was rescheduled and took place this past Monday the 17th. Sounds like there were even two DeLoreans parked out front of the theatre.

The Canadian actor started displaying symptoms of early-onset Parkinson's disease in 1991. Since retiring from acting, he raises global awareness of the disease and is also helping find a cure through The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. His foundation also happens to be the world's leading non-profit funder of Parkinson's disease science.

There's even a new movie about his life that is set to come out next month, called "Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie".
