The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week Is A Sweet Cat Named Lauren
The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week spotlight this week is on a sweet cat named Lauren. He is a 9 pound, brown and white Domestic Short Hair cat who is 5 years old. Lauren ended up at Animal Allies because his former home could no longer care for him. This is always so hard on these animals when they are surrendered and the staff at Animal Allies always do their best to make sure these animals are loved and well cared for until they find a new loving home.
Lauren is a shy guy at first but once he gets to know you he will warm up with lot's of head scratches. He would fit in better in a home that is calm and quiet and with humans that will be patient and give him time to adjust. He has recently gotten a hair cut so shedding will not be an issue. He has been neutered, micro chipped, vet checked and is updated on all his shots.
The shelter is not open to the public, but you can find more information about Lauren or all the other animals up for adoption on their website. If you are interested in adopting him, please call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 for more information! The adoption staff is available by phone starting right at 10:30 to 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday, and 10:30 to 4:00 PM Sunday. The adoption process is first come first serve so whoever reaches the staff first will have the opportunity to place a hold.
Animal Allies is located at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth. Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Don't forget the shelter also has a shop right in the shelter with all the supplies you may need for your new pet!
