The Animal Allies Pet Of The Week is a beautiful young cat named Josie. She is a 10 pound, black, Domestic short hair cat who is 1 year and 5 months old. Josie found her way to Animal Allies after she was transferred from a different shelter and now is looking for a new loving home.
Josie is a little shy and skittish at first but once she gets to know you she will be on your lap hoping for scratches. The best home environment for her would be a place that is normally rather quiet and her human companion be very patient to allow her time to adjust and get comfortable in her new environment.
Josie has been fully checked medically which will be discussed with you if you chose to adopt her. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and has had a dental work up as well. The adoption staff is available by phone starting right at 10:30 to 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday, and 10:30 to 4:00 PM Sunday. The adoption process is first come first serve so whoever reaches their staff first will have the opportunity to place a hold.
