After 16-Years Wisconsin Business Must Find New Owner or Close
After over 15 years, a Wisconsin business is looking at having to close its doors permanently if something doesn't change.
The announcement comes as the current owner is facing some "health challenges" and despite feeling "passionately" about the store, and they say "business is good", the store may have to close forever.

A Storied History in the Twin Ports
Earth Exchange has been a staple in the Superior community since it first opened its doors in 2008. This store was the second in the Earth Exchange family, following the success of the original location in the Twin Cities, which operated from 2001 until its lease ended in 2015.
The store is a unique shopping experience with a selection of both new and used, they sell new furniture and mattresses along with a large selection of recycled merchandise.
The Advantages of Ownership
One of the key factors in Earth Exchange's success has been the ownership of their building in Superior. Unlike many businesses that struggle with high rental costs, Earth Exchange has enjoyed the freedom of owning their space.
This advantage, combined with regular maintenance and repairs, has kept the building in what they say is "impeccable condition". Recently, extensive roof and brick repairs were completed, ensuring the property remains in top shape.
A Unique Opportunity for the Right Person
The owners are now seeking someone who shares their passion for Earth Exchange to take over the business. They are offering the entire Earth Exchange package for sale, including the business, store fixtures, inventory, and the commercial building.
This presents a rare opportunity for someone looking to own a well-loved, environmentally friendly business with a loyal customer base and growth potential.
Interested in Buying the Business?
If you're interested in continuing the Earth Exchange legacy, the owners ask that you refrain from calling the store directly. Instead, they encourage potential buyers to email them at earthexchange@hotmail.com with a brief introduction.
They hope to keep the transition as smooth as possible, with minimal disruption to the store's operations.
