The Animal Allies Pet of the week is a beautiful medium haired cat named Buffalo. He was found as a stray and had some matting in his fur, so he needed a little bit of a haircut, but those spots will grow back in no time.

Buffalo seems a little overwhelmed at the moment and tends to hide towards the back of his kennel, but If you have the chance to take him out into one of the visiting rooms he loves to snuggle, When I met him I noticed that his face looks like a lion, and with his coloring and the way his hair flows around his neck it looks like a mane.

He loves head scratches and seems to love to hide in your arms when he is being held. The staff recommends that he be in a mellow quiet household and be the only cat so he can get comfortable and flourish in his new home. He is only 5 years old so he is well out of his kitten phase, but still has plenty of years ahead of him to be your pal.

He is said to be very talkative in the mornings and when he wants some attention. He has been neutered, micro-chipped, vet checked and is updated on all his shots.
