Applebee’s Offering Twist On A Classic For January Drink Deal

Arrrrrrgh matey.

Applebee's has a new drink deal of the month and the theme of January's discounted beverage? Pirates.

For the entire month, you can sip on what the chain calls a 'Captain & Cola.' While this drink isn't new, there is a little bit of a twist: it's not made with Coke. Instead, it's made with Pepsi! It also features Captain Morgan Spiced Rum.

The drink rings in at $2 bucks and is served in a 10 ounce mug.

Each month, the restaurant comes up with a discount drink deal like this one. Most of the time, it has to do with the month or impending holiday. For example, in December you could sip on a green or red cocktail, in tune with the holidays.

In October of 2018, they had a drink called the DOLLAR ZOMBIE, which was topped off with a gummy brain to really get into the Halloween spirit.
