Army Ranger Asks Katy Perry to Join Him at the Ranger Ball [VIDEO]

Another average person has asked a celebrity to join them at a formal dance, but this story has a little bit of a twist.

Army Ranger Ken Yasger posted a video on YouTube asking Katy Perry if she would join him as his "date" at a upcoming Ranger Ball. The twist is Yasger is openly gay, and says how Katy has inspired him through her music.

Even though he said many of his buddies would make fun of him for playing her music all the time like when they would be working out, they seemed to like it too. I hope Katy can fit this in her plans and make this soldier one happy man. If not, hopefully she will at least acknowledge this request for one of her super fans. :)
