A lineup full of Minnesota based musical acts will take the stage at Bayfront this summer for the Wild Waters Music Fest in an effort to raise awareness about The Boundary Waters.

Atmosphere, Doomtree, Low, Cloud Cult, Jeremy Messersmith, deM atlaS, DJ Keezy, War Bonnet and The Lioness will play at Bayfront on Friday, August 16th, doors open at 3:30.

Tickets for the one-day festival go on sale this Friday, June 14th at noon through Ticketmaster. Tickets start at $33 and it is an all ages show.

The concert is being organized by the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters, who according to their website, "is leading the efforts to protect the Boundary Waters Wilderness from sulfide-ore copper mining."

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters and I'm sure there will be plenty of information onsite for the event.
