Finally, the day has come. After a four-cover Avengers-themed issue in Vanity Fair debuted Monday and the first teaser poster for Infinity War dropped yesterday, the very first trailer for the massive Marvel team-up has arrived.

It’s the beginning of the end in Infinity War, and everyone – seriously, everyone – is here. There’s a dour-looking Cap emerging from the shadows, Black Widow sporting her new blonde ‘do, Bucky preparing for battle, Black Panther looking as cool as ever, Spidey in his new suit, Thor rocking his eye patch, Loki with the Tesseract, and so so many more. Don’t miss the Guardians cameo at the end, either. The first trailer is packed with detail you’re gonna want to watch it a couple times.

Infinity War, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, finds the Marvel superheroes facing off with John Brolin’s Thanos, and it’s sure to get ugly. So ugly, in fact, it’ll all spill over into the untitled Avengers 4, which will be the true end of it all (sorta). Here’s the official synopsis:

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018.
