You can’t have a Baywatch movie without David Hasselhoff. Just a few weeks ago, Dwayne Johnson confirmed what we all assumed by announcing that the star of the original series would be joining the upcoming film, and now we have photographic evidence. While we wait to find out if his equally iconic co-star Pamela Anderson will also be making an appearance in the Baywatch movie, enjoy this set of photos featuring the Hoff and his new pals.

Hasselhoff returned to his famous red swim trunks in these set photos, which also feature co-stars Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron — the latter of whom also shared a set photo acknowledging the wisdom of his Baywatch elder:

What’s unclear is exactly who Hasselhoff will be playing in the movie. Johnson is playing Mitch Buchannon, the role Hasselhoff originated in the classic series, which means that Hoff is either playing a new character, himself, or some meta version of Mitch — perhaps similar to the dream sequence in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (there’s a reference you probably did not expect to see today).

Efron is playing the role of Matt Brody, a young and cocky newcomer who butts heads with Mitch, an established and professional lifeguard who follows the rules to the letter. Model Kelly Rohrbach will play C.J. Parker, the role made famous by Pamela Anderson, while Johnson’s San Andreas co-star Alexandra Daddario plays Summer, and Billions star Ilfenesh Hadera plays Mitch’s love interest, Stephane Holden. Quantico’s Priyanka Chopra stars as the villain in the R-rated update on the series, which is being directed by Horrible Bosses’ Seth Gordon.

Baywatch hits theaters on May 19, 2017.
