Festive New Bentleyville Themed Adult Beverage Being Brewed Up In Duluth
With the arrival of what many call "the most wonderful time of the year", the Bentleyville Tour of Lights is getting going once again for the 2024 season on November 23.
The Twin Ports community has really embraced this holiday lights attraction in the 15+ years it has been in Duluth after launching in Esko in the early 2000s. One of the fun, festive collaborations is a Bentleyville-themed beer made by Duluth's Bent Paddle Brewing.
Joining that beer, a new adult-oriented Bentleyville beverage has popped up just in time for the season that offers festive flavors for those who aren't into beer or who enjoy trying out new options.
Here's a look at the two official Bentleyville beverages made by Duluth craft beverage makers, starting with the original offering:
The Original: Christmas Cookie Cream Ale from Bent Paddle Brewing Co.
This beer has become a tradition for the brewing team at Bent Paddle, crafting up a delicious cookie-flavored cream ale for the last number of years now.

The team at Bent Paddle says this seasonal beer uses the traditional Spritz cookie as the base flavor for this cream ale. You'll taste notes of vanilla, almond, and cardamom along with the maltiness of the cream ale in this smooth cookie-like beverage.
While this might taste like a cookie, it is definitely for the adults. This beer is 5% alcohol by volume.
Beside being able to get this beer in their on tap at the Bent Paddle taproom, you can also get it in growlers, crowlers, and in 6-pack cans at liquor stores around the area.
The Newcomer: Ginger Bell Rock Gingerbread Cider from Duluth Cider
If you prefer ciders to beers (or just like the sound of this flavor), there's a new official partnership beverage from another Duluth beverage maker.
Duluth Cider announced a special holiday cider called Ginger Bell Rock, a gingerbread cider that they describe as "a balanced blend of festive gingerbread spice and fresh crisp apple".
This alcoholic cider is 6% alcohol by volume and will be available not only at the Duluth Cider taproom, but also at other places around the Twin Ports area through the holiday season.
Like Bent Paddle does with their Bentleyville beer, Duluth Cider will be donating some of the sales to the free holiday attraction to support their efforts to bring the holiday magic to the Northland and make it free for everyone to enjoy each year.
