Bite Squad, the restaurant food delivery service that launched in Duluth earlier this year, is leaving Duluth.

Bite Squad will stop delivery on December 5th in Duluth, St. Cloud and Rochester.

"We were unable to grow the market fast enough to become profitable," Dean Turcol, media relations director for Bite Squad told the St. Cloud Times.

Bite Squad is not leaving the state though, they will continue service in the Twin Cities metro area where they do deliveries for 17 cities.

Bite Squad currently delivers from 36 Twin Ports restaurants. No word on what will happen after December 5th, and if another delivery service will begin delivering from those establishments. We will keep an eye on it, stay tuned.
