Blacklist Brewing Co. has been busy planning a move to a new location.

Now that even more pandemic restrictions have been lifted, bars and restaurants around the area are starting to get busy again, and Blacklist Brewing Co. will be ready for the surge with a brand-new location located just down the street from their current location at 120 E. Superior St.

The new, larger space will be home to both the brewery and taproom and be located at the historic Lange Motors building at 206 E. Superior St., Blacklist says that they'll have "more axe lanes, a bigger patio, an event space, more tap lines, and just a whole lot of excitement."

That's right, you read that right axe lanes, if you're not aware, or just forgot during the long pandemic winter, Blacklist Brewing Co. not only serves up craft beer and craft seltzer, but they offer the latest craze, axe throwing, and after the year we had, throwing an axe sounds like fun.

The Lange Motors building was built in 1915 according to ZenithCity.com and was the home to a handful of car dealerships, restaurants and cafés and bookshops over the many years, now it will be the home to one of Duluth's coolest hangouts.

Axe throwing lanes are available for reservation on their website and the cost $19 per hour and a group of 6 is $100. Times are available from 4 PM - 10 PM Thursday and Friday, 3 PM - 10 PM on Saturday, and 1 PM - 7 PM on Sundays. And no worries if you've never thrown an axe before, I mean most people haven't, the staff there will help you out.
