The Downtown Duluth building finally has a new tenant and will soon be a brewery called Blacklist Artisan Ales.

Blacklist Artisan Ales started from a Kickstarter campaign back in 2012 and is currently brewing at  211 E. 2nd St. in Duluth. Blacklist is inspired by Belgian creativity and uses unique ingredients like grapefruit, green tea, rhubarb and more.

The brewery says it expects to complete the move by this summer. Head brewer Brian Schanzenbach says the move allows the brewery to expand production while continuing to experiment with new ales.

I'm all for a brewery to be in the midst of restaurants and other tourists attractions in the heart of Downtown. Read the full story here and let me know what you think of Blacklist moving into the old Last Place On Earth building in the comments below.
