Duluthian Looking For Help Reclaiming Lost Apple Watch From Protective Beaver
An unidentified Duluth area resident is looking for some help online after losing their Apple Watch in what has to be the wildest story of the week.
The individual took to Reddit yesterday to share that they had been swimming in a spot along Keene Creek in Duluth when their Apple Watch ended up in about 10 feet of water.
The person says they normally wouldn't have a problem swimming down to get it for themself, but the problem is that there's a beaver in the area that the individual doesn't want to tangle with.
I certainly don't blame this person! While beavers generally look cute and friendly, I wouldn't want to be thumped by the beaver's tail or - even worse - get chomped on by its big teeth.
I'm reminded of the old Jeff Foxworthy joke about a guy getting his nipple bitten off ("O-F-F, off") by a beaver.
That is indeed a new kind of hurt. Yup, don't want that to happen!
Anyway, this person with the missing watch being guarded by a beaver says they are actually willing to pay someone to rescue the watch for them.

I don't blame the person. Apple Watches aren't cheap. At the same time, what do you charge for watch rescue from a protective beaver?
The watch's owner asked on Reddit for anyone who may be braver than they are, or perhaps someone who scuba dives, who might be interested in a watch recovery mission.

People in the comments have offered a variety of replies. Some people have offered advice, while most have said that the watch is pretty much the beaver's now. One person even jokingly referred to the creature as "Bucky 'Bloodbath' Beaver", with another person chiming in with the humorous comment that his body count is a mile long.
If you have a good solution for how to rescue this person's Apple Watch out from under this guard beaver, hit them up on the Reddit thread. Also, reach out to me and let me know how it goes. I most definitely want a follow-up on this story.
