The Bright Lights of Broadway are Coming to Duluth in 2025
Fans of Broadway shows won't have to travel to New York or the Twin Cities to see shows anymore, as Duluth gets set to launch a new Broadway season in 2025.
National touring Broadway shows will make their return to the Twin Ports as the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center announced yesterday that they have a whole season of Broadway shows coming in the new year.

Four shows were announced for the first season, and Dan Hartman, the Executive Director at the DECC, says another season is already in the planning stages. All the shows will be in the DECC's Symphony Hall.
The new season will kick off early in 2025 with a production of the Broadway classic 'Chicago' on January 21st, a musical based on the 1990 film 'Pretty Woman', which premiered in 2018 will hit the stage on February 16th.
The season continues on April 7th with the musical adaptation of the popular 2004 film 'Mean Girls', Tina Fey added her talent to help produce this musical which made its Broadway debut in 2018.
And finally, the first Broadway season at the DECC will wrap up on May 17th with a production of 'Riverdance: The New Generation', this new production celebrating 30 years of Riverdance will feature new choreography, costumes and state-of-the-art lighting.
Season tickets for "Broadway at the DECC" will go on sale starting on September 13th, and start at $139. The DECC says that season ticket holders will "own their seat locations for every show", plus they'll get access to season specials and special discounts.
