Carly Rae Jepsen has had a busy summer thanks to her No. 1 hit song 'Call Me Maybe.' And now that the season is winding down, she decided to hop on over to 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' to talk about the song and her new album 'Kiss,' out earlier this week (Sept. 18).

'Call Me Maybe' took off like wildfire and spawned an incredible 63,000 covers since its release. But what Jepsen found most thrilling was when she was Justin Bieber's special guest in Mexico and performed for 300,000 people, an experience she called "surreal," but was thrilled when "they sang it right back to me. They knew all the words!"

Perhaps most shocking though, was after they discussed the humongous amount of covers of 'Call Me Maybe,' Jepsen admitted that she didn't have a TV. She knows you watch YouTube covers on a computer, right? Anyway, Ellen did her generous Ellen thing and presented her with a television, as if Jepsen couldn't afford her own.

After the interview, Jepsen treated the audience to a performance of 'Call Me Maybe' and her new single 'This Kiss,' and while she appeared more comfortable performing than she seemed to ever have, the song sounded as if it belonged in the '80s. The lyrics were a tad immature for a 26-year-old, but so is 'Call Me Maybe.,' and hey, at least it's catchy.

Still, we can't help but think Whitney Houston would've hit this song out of the park in 1982 with her powerhouse vocals, making the song her own. Instead, 'This Kiss' owned Jepsen.
