‘Coolest Thing Made In Minnesota’ 2025 Contest Names Winner

What is the coolest thing made in Minnesota?

After a field of 64 Minnesota-made products competed in a bracket-style voting competition, this year's winner has been announced!

The field of 64 products in the running for the 2025 title of 'Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota' included a huge variety of products.

Among the competitors were things like "The Wanderer" backpack made by Duluth Pack, "Vengeance!" Jalapeno Cream Ale made by Jack Pine Brewery in the Brainerd area, Hormel's SPAM, a Prescription Medication Dispenser made by InstyMeds in Eden Prairie, Scamp campers made in Backus, and even Mrs. Gerry’s Original Potato Salad.

The field was narrowed down in head-to-head votes, all coming down to the final four competitors. The last four Minnesota-made products all competed last week to receive the most votes and earn the 2025 title of 'Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota'.

Those final four competitors were:

• SR Series G7+ Aircraft made by Cirrus Aircraft - Headquarters in Duluth, MN
• Vistabule Teardrop Trailer made by Minnesota Teardrop Trailer LLC - Headquarters in St Paul, MN
• MRZR – Military RZR made by Polaris Inc. - Headquarters in Medina, MN
• Trackchair made by ATZ Manufacturing - Headquarters in Marshall, Minnesota

When voting ended last Friday, the votes were tabulated over the weekend, and the winner was announced today (October 7) as part of an event hosted by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce in the Twin Cities.

The results of the vote revealed that Polaris's MRZR – Military RZR was the winner, grabbing the most votes of the four finalists.

Polaris says units of their MRZR have been delivered to more than 50 allied militaries around the world, including several used by the U.S. Armed Forces for over a decade now.

Made on a dedicated military production line at Polaris's manufacturing facility in Roseau, this innovative product can now boast about being called the Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota!
