Cottage Grove Man Proposes to His Girlfriend With a Little Help From the Police

Matthew Pitoscia turned a prank into a proposal with the help of the Cottage Grove Police Department, and thankfully his High School sweetheart said Yes!

Apparently Katie Borner , Matthews fiance, has quite the led foot and is always looking out for the police, so he figured this gave him the perfect opportunity to propose.  The couple who are both 23 have been dating for the last 7 years. Matthew bought the ring in May but was waiting for the right time.

Pitoscia knew the way Katie drives home from work everyday so, he saw a Cottage Grove Police officer and asked her If she would help him with his plan? Katie somehow avoided the officer so Matthew had to call  and ask for her to come pick him up saying he had a flat tire.

As it turns out, the plan all came together and now this cute couple are busy planning the big day.
