DTA to Add Additional Day to Grocery Express Route [VIDEO]

The DTA is hoping that adding an additional day to the specially designed "Grocery Express"  will make it more convenient for commuters to use the service.

The Grocery Express bus is specially equipped with bins to hold groceries and started running around a year ago with stops in Lincoln Park-Spirit Valley-Morgan Park and then dropped off at the West Duluth Super One. The initial schedule was only on Tuesdays, but now a Saturday run will be added to the schedule splitting the normal Tuesday hours between both days.
