This year's grocery store closures fall on an unusual date. Easter and the annual marijuana holiday, yes, 4/20, happen to land on the same day in 2025. Need Snacks or a Spiral Ham? Plan Ahead Minnesota
If you’re in the market for bulk snacks or that Easter ham, you'll need to plan your trip to Costco or Sam's Club ahead of time. Both retailers will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 20.
Other Stores Joining the Closure
Costco and Sam’s Club aren’t the only big names shutting down. Target, TJ Maxx, and Best Buy have also announced closures on April 20. Walmart, Super One Foods, and Cub are expected to remain open but may operate with limited hours.
