If you just can't get enough live music and want to make the most of summertime in the Twin Ports area, another free concert series starts today in Duluth.

The Duluth Public Library's annual 'City Sounds' free music series starts tonight (Thursday, July 30) with a different act scheduled to play each Thursday for the next few weeks.

This summer concert series will feature a variety of different styles of music, with each of the scheduled groups bringing something different to Downtown Duluth.

Each weekly show will start at 5:30 pm on Thursday evenings, being held outside the main Duluth Public Library branch on Superior Street in Downtown Duluth.

Shows will be held each Thursday, rain or shine, on the Library's covered outdoor plaza on the Michigan Street side of the library building.

Performances start at 5:30 pm, and will wrap up by 6:45 pm, giving you time to get something else in during your evening after enjoying some live outdoor music.

Seating is provided, but you can bring your own chair if you'd like. There is also open space to get up and dance if you're felling moved to groove to the music!
