Congratulations to the Duluth Police Department!  The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) announced today that Duluth is among four agencies that have been selected to receive the 2012 IACP/Cisco Systems Community Policing Award.

The award recognizes outstanding community policing initiatives by law enforcement agencies worldwide.

Duluth Police Deputy Chief Mike Tusken will travel to San Diego where he will accept the award during the 119th Annual IACP Conference on October 1st.

Duluth, MN Police Department (Population of 50,001 to 100,000 residents)

Clearwater, FL Police Department (Population of 100,001 to 250,000 residents)
