In the spirit of the Festival of Sail coming on August 17 the Duluth Rotary has put together a very special fundraiser with their first ever "Duck Pluck." Proceeds from the event will go to funding a mental Health Wellness Program that is being started at The Boys and Girls Club of the Northland. You can help raise funds for this much needed program by adopting a duck or two with a chance to win some serious prizes.

Thousands of these adopted rubber ducks will be in a giant net with a crane in the slip at Pier B Hotel on Thursday August 15. Each of these ducks will have the name of the person that adopted them on the bottom. Once they are dropped into the water volunteers in kayaks will stir them around and a few lucky ducks will be plucked as winners! 13 ducks will be picked total and the grand prize is $3,000!

The fun starts at 5:00pm with food and beverages available, plus music and entertainment and boat demonstrations and tours as well. The ducks will be dumped at 7pm and you do not need to be present to win! For more information on the event or how you can adopt a duck Click Here!
