Ed has been announcing "intimate" performances before his stadium concerts throughout the United States. While he is in Minnesota, he will play songs from his new album 'Subtract' at the Hennepin Theatre the night before his show at U.S. Bank. The show will also have special guest Ben Kweller perform.

Ed has won multiple Grammy awards over the years and just released dates for his North American Tour. The tour will kick off the week in Texas on May 6th, 2023. If you didn't know, he's calling it the 'Mathematics Tour' based on his albums:

  • '+' was released in 2011 and charted at number 5 on the Billboard US charts.
  • 'x' came out in 2014 and went all the way to number 1 in the US.
  • '÷' came out in 2017 and also went to number 1 in the US.
  • '=' came out in 2021 and again, went to number 1 in the US.
  • '-' is set to release on May 5th, 2023.

If you're hoping to score tickets to his "intimate" show, you may have missed your chance. The registration for Verified Fans ended this past Sunday and is now close. However, it doesn't hurt to check Ticketmaster for resale tickets.
