With a second Ash Borer Infestation now discovered in Duluth the Minnesota Department of Agriculture has issued an emergency quarantine for the Southeastern portion of St. Louis County, including the City of Duluth.

So what does this mean for residents in the area? According to a report from WDIO this quarantine means that no wood or ash should be removed off the property. This quarantine has already been in place for Superior and Douglas County. A tree service company discovered the Ash Borer infestation on private property in Duluth.
