Legendary rapper Flavor Flav made an appearance in Milwaukee on Sunday to perform his rendition of the United States National Anthem, and things went about as bad as you would think.

The Buck were playing the Atlanta Hawks and the crowd in attendance was treated to a very unique take of the The Star-Spangled Banner, wearing a Bucks jersey and his trademark clock around his neck, Flavor Fav belted out the lyrics to one of the most famous songs in the world.

Catless Cat Lady on X said, "Glad he made it through w/o any serious embarrassment. Now fire whoever came up with this idea, asap." I don't think anyone needs to be fired over this, as the stunt clearly met its intended goal of going viral.

Flavor Flav posted to X after the performance saying, "The anthem was a long time bucket list item...that was fun! I can’t live my life worried about what people might say about me. I won’t let that stop me from trying new things and doing things I wanna do. Some people might not like that. But a sure failure is if you stop trying."

Flavor Flav now enters the Hall of Fame of bad Star-Spangled Banner performances, he sits along side celebrities and professional musicians like Roseanne Barr, Fergie, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler.

Who did it better? Check out Roseanne Barr badly singing the National Anthem at a 1990 San Diego Padres game, I think Flavor Flav did better than this disaster.
