Former Twin Ports TV personality Sven Sundgaard was fired last week from KARE 11 in the Twin Cities and he says now that he’s “considering my options.”

Last week KARE 11 announced that they had fired the meteorologist "Due to continued violations of KARE 11’s news ethics and other policies.”

The split apparently came after he shared a post on Facebook that called protesters calling for states to reopen "white nationalist Nazi sympathizer gun fetishist miscreants."

On Tuesday Sundgaard responded to the firing by saying, “Here's what I have to say about that for now:
I disagree with and dispute my former employer's claims and I am considering my options at this time. Thank you again.”

Sundgaard worked at KBJR until 2006 when we moved to the Twin Cities as the weekend weather person on KARE 11.
